NOTE: The cost of lunch is a little higher than usual... Lunch will be tasty and the location is great! White Hall farm is operated by the Chin family of York and they have graciously allowed us to hash on their property. Our hostess is Julie Chin who sells organic produce, jams, jellies, hot sauces, Bustamante Backbone sweeties, coconut oil, fruits and veggies at the bi-monthly Saturday organic farmers market on Barbican Road.

How We Got There:

Travelling time: 1.5 hours from Kingston Travel from Harbour View to Morant Bay At the Morant Bay roundabout bear left and continue to the district of York (distance from here to site is about 8 kilometers) Continue to Seaforth Town Pass Unipet Gas Station on left and hang a right at the tee junction (DO NOT CROSS OVER THE BRIDGE!) Pass road to Reggae Falls on the left and continue Keep right at a yellow house Go through the village of White Hall & pass the 'People's Choice Superette' The location is approximately 200 yards after the 'Golden Valley' sign Look for dirt road that dips down on the left JAH3 directional signs will be posted after the Morant Bay roundabout

Long pants not required. YES, we will be occasionally wading through the shallow waters of the Plantain Garden River which is the only major river in Jamaica that does not flow in a northerly or southerly direction. The Blue and John Crow mountains can be seen from the property. Bring chairs, repellant & lot of good cheer! Bring extra cash as Julie will have farm produce and procuts for sale

Error 404

A great Hash, nice long and challenging run to get the blood pumping - one of the most enjoyable in a while. Not too sure about the ice bucket at the end though :)
