Truly a 'backyard'-hash - so close to Kingston !
We are guests at the Jack's Hill community and will explore the scenic beauty of the surroundings.
This run starts and ends at the Jack's Hill community centre, rural St. Andrew. Over a length of nearly 6 km we'll enjoy a mountainous terrain. This hash will follow the road, country trails and forest paths and may give you great views over St. Andrew and Kingston.
Make sure you'll carry insect repellent, protective clothing and sunglasses.
We start our journey at the Texaco petrol station, at the intersection of Barbican Road and Jack's Hill road, Kingston. From here it is a 5.7 km drive to the Jack's Hill community centre, where the hash will take place.
Driving time from the Texaco: about 15 minutes.
From the Texaco, drive up Jack's Hill road;
make sure to turn right after 2.6 km, at this sign (following Jack's Hill road) - if you miss this turn, you'll be on Sunset Avenue and will end up in Cherry Garden;
from here, it's a bumpy road;
after another 3.1 km you'll find the Jack's Hill community centre on your left - park behind the container.
